DENVER (CBS4) – Millennials and money don’t always mix well according to finance experts.
The demographic makes up a quarter of Colorado’s population, according to the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, but many do not earn enough to buy a home nor have enough saved as a basic safety net.
On Friday, Millennials can get finance advice at Denver’s Galvanize event.
Phroogal, a financial education service, will be at the conference from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. to host a discussion, share personal stories, and answer questions.
Nationally, student loan debt recently surpassed credit card debt and is second only to mortgage debt.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with experts about retirement, budgeting, funding a startup, and being financially independent.
